The Billings Royals Booster Club is a parent-directed support organization for BALB’s Royals and Blue Jays. Members are player parents who pay a nominal membership fee and elect a member board of directors. The club’s primary income sources are member dues and donations. Generally, no funds are raised from third-party sources.
The Booster Club works closely with the BALB governing board to help improve the BALB program and implement BALB board directives, but has no decision-making authority regarding program operation.
Club funds are spent on a variety of activities and merchandise to benefit the Royals and Blue Jays, including (as determined annually by the club board):
The club board usually meets 8-10 times a year, and calls a general membership meeting once or twice a year. Board members are elected in the fall for one-year terms.
All Blue Jays and Royals parents are encouraged to join the booster club and contribute to its mission.
