Scott Halverson Memorial Scholarship Award

1964-1984

Scott played American Legion baseball for the Scarlets in 1981-82.

This scholarship was established by his parents in his memory. The scholarship, in the amount of $350, is awarded to both a Scarlet and a Royal graduating senior. The award is to be used within six months of graduation. The recipients must have a definite need and desire to attend college.

A minimum of two scholarships will be awarded every year as long as American Legion Baseball is played in Billings.

Contributions to the fund can be mailed to American Legion Post #4, 1540 Broadwater Ave. Billings, MT 59102, or to the Scott Halverson Memorial Scholarship Fund, 4104 Pine Cove, Billings MT 59106.
